The United Nations has set the target for overseas aid at 0.7% of a country's Gross National Product. Since this target is less than 1% of the total value of the goods and services produced by a country in one year, it would seem to be one which is easily attained. How many countries currently meet the 0.7% target? (Extra points if you can name any or all of them.)

ANSWER: Out of all the countries in the world, only two, the Netherlands and Sweden, actually achieve this target. Canada's total overseas aid is approximately 0.3% of GNP.
